We have four kitties. One is black and named Muddy.

Muddy is my absolute favorite. (Don't tell the other three...)

She is very sweet and very smart!

I adopted her from a kill shelter year before last in November. She was five months old and very sick and in the "next day" room but today, as she approaches her second birthday, she is doing just fine.

Adopt don't shop! The #1 cat up for adoption in the shelters are black cats due to stupid stigmas. Another great reason to adopt a black cat is that they have an almost zero risk of coming down with skin cancer, a problem I had with the two white cats I once owned.

Black cats are cool, very!

& recommend.
