Finally a Jose FELICIANO melody I can get behind. Bracing for whatever flak!1

Besides its humanitarian purpose (Puerto Rico relief), my only exposure to Jose over pretty much a few scores of years has been "Feliz Navidad" which is some kind of jingle, HERE is some beautiful music and artistry in performance:

have always loved Jose Feliciano... he got a bad rap for 1968 National Anthem... but he is good

The guy took an old song that everyone hears and naturally respects (but no one really listens to) and made it new and interesting.

Jose Feliciano is a national treasure.

My two friends and I saw three concerts that long ago summer - the first was Blood, Sweat and Tears, Jose Feliciano was the second, and the third was a double bill - Arlo Guthrie and Judy Collins! Saratoga Performing Arts Center here in New York, good times and memories.
