Also, the Husky at the end of the sofa was like, "oh will you all please just shut up". But overall a very enjoyable video. Left a smile on my face. Thanks.

I think my husky was slightly embarrassed by his voice as for a big barrel chested (okay fine overweight) boy, he had a pretty high pitched howl.

She must have just vacuumed before the concert.

We have one husky, he could be the white husky's brother, same blue eyes, nose, and voice.

When I sweep the floors it's mostly husky hair in the dust pan. When I wash clothes and bedding, its mostly husky hair in the dryer lint trap.

When he's shedding his hair falls out in great clumps.

And yes, he howls every time he hears police sirens, which is several times a day around here.

Fortunately all our immediate neighbors have dogs who also howl when they hear sirens. Our next door neighbors have two German Shepherds who howl, and those dogs, unlike ours, are outside most of the time, so they're worse. Unfortunately, I think it was our husky who taught them to howl.

I know huskies are popular, but they are not easy dogs. They are escape artista. They dig huge holes in the garden.

Huskies are highly intelligent, but they are not highly motivated to please their humans. If something doesn't make sense to a husky, like sitting on command, rolling over, or shaking hands, they simply won't do it. Our husky is entirely indifferent to dog treats or any other typical dog training reward. We took him to dog school and he spent most of the time immovable and melted into the floor. Occasionally he'd open one eye to see what was going on, but mostly he was waiting patiently to go back home. If you try to lift him up onto his feet he can magically weigh a ton.

There are plenty of youtube videos demonstrating typical husky stubbornness...

It's cute at first, until you need them to do something other than pulling a sled. (They like going places!)

We got our husky at the animal shelter. His previous owners couldn't deal with him so they kept him chained up outside day and night, which is illegal in our county.

husky's were cats in their previous life? Seriously though, I do not believe in keeping any pets chained up outside!!!! Our pets are our family!!

When they started howling, they sounded like a handful. I miss them both. They were LOUD!

Coming home from vacation used to be a big treat, he'd start howling the second we pulled in the driveway and keep it up until all the bags were inside and we had a long group howl. I guess we're lucky our neighbors are dog people too so no one ever complained and it was really loud. I miss our big old boy so much, he was pure love.
