I bet that dog has AMAZING hearing and that's why she does circles - she's basically making a temporary 360-degree sound map in her head. The part in the video where she chases the ball - you can see her wait to hear where it lands and she goes straight to it.

I've rescued two congenitally deaf dogs and they make wonderful pets. I no longer consider deaf or blind dogs "special needs" because it's all they've ever known and they've got this!
