It is snowing very lightly right now...

Nothing will accumulate, itís just too light. But it could easily be in the inches today.

But the mere fact that we have snow in April is crazy. Thatís Michigan weather for ya.

Global climate change is behind this sorcery, isnít it?

1. If I hear one more loon

say "We could use some of that thar glow-bull warming!" (referring to unseasonably cold weather) .... I will scream!

No snow here in Ohio but it's 29 degrees this morning as I take my dog out.

7. I missed that one

I was in Germany at the time, dealing with 300 days of rain a year.

3. Same here

We're in the foothills of the Catskills in Pennsylvania and it's just flakes. Later today it's supposed to get sunny and up to 45ļ.

Weird weather and I'm ready for Spring.

4. Sorry, I remember major snowstorms in April a couple of times in Philly

That was in the 50ís and early 60ís.
Remember one was on Easter because I had gotten new shoes dyed to match my dress and was worried they would be ruined.

5. The two things that depress me the most - snow and holidays. I should just go back to bed

I just took this photo, out my front door. Mores snow in the 10 day forecast, too.

12. I'm with you on that.

I'm not much for holidays. Never really have been. Too many expectations of what one should be doing.

13. I've lost most of my family

Holidays are just painful reminders of those losses.

8. Western rural Michigan here. We got an inch or so.

Forecast is for two more inches Tuesday.

I hate Spring snow storms. Really, really hate them. When is enough, enough?

9. I believe the year was 1982...

Middle of April, and I was suddenly driving in near white-out conditions. This was in southern Indiana. No accumulation, but it was definitely anomalous.

10. Ugh! I know, we are supposed to be getting snow here in Boston

tomorrow. Not much, but it's April! Every time it warms up a little, it seems to slip back and there is more snow. I am so over it!

11. But the sun comes out occasionally...

and fakes me out! I'm in Macomb and opened my blinds because the sunshine looked so inviting, but it was snowing. Is there such a thing as a snowbow like a rainbow???

First year I moved here from the South I was so depressed on Easter because it was grey and snowing big, fat flakes all day long and was cold! Easter may have been in March that year, but still. Easter in the South was always warm. I remember my kids running through the sprinkler on Easter one year. Never had to wear a winter coat on Easter.
