I didn’t know that I was walking near one of their nests. The goose stood on the road blocking my way, ready for a fight. I had to walk through people’s yards to get out of his way.

We had a pair land on our pond a few weeks ago, and our own geese steered clear of them. They are usually quite territorial.

I love our little group of Africans, and one China White. Two of them especially (Barack and Biden), follow me around and ask to be petted. They hate everybody and everything else. The feeling is mutual!
