(15,805 posts)I recently finished binge watching the whole thing on Netflix and appreciated the dry wit of Martin Clunes even more on the second time.
It only being offered on Acorn TV, a subscription streaming service, so that's a consideration.

(31,106 posts)For me it is how the character not only doesnt soften but he gets even less emotional and human as opposed to what usually would happen with a US tv show, where they would want to endear the character to the audience.
Speaking of which there is a team in Hollywood working on American version
