Today, however, I walked out on the deck this morning and saw this... I think he's eyeing my neighbors chickens.. sigh.. (don't tell my neighbor, I hope he gets one)

(22,665 posts)and put them out in the open as far from your neighbors as possible. Less chance your neighbor will try to kill this magnificent bird of prey.

(28,809 posts)They just believe in free range chickens. Even if that range seems to include our yard and bird feed.
Its my other neighbor with five roaming cats who is more dangerous to this neighborhood. Always after the others chickens and my song birds.
That eagle could carry away one of those cats and Id look the other way.
