BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - People weren't the only ones taken aback by a monster alligator walking across a Lowcountry golf course.

Video recently shot by the folks at Eat Sleep Play Beaufort captured video of an enormous gator walking across the Ocean Creek Golf Course at Fripp Island.

In the background, a group of deer can be seen watching the reported 12-foot alligator traversing along the green.

And I hope he is left alone to roam for a long, long time. Always afraid someone is going to want to "bring him down" for stupid bragging rights.

I'm gonna walk across this green and you ain't gonna do a damn thing about it.

The deers don't look too concerned actually. The baby needs protecting but other than that...meh.
