BREAKING: Secret Agent's name taken away, but the number he requested was already taken

Supposedly he asked for "007" and they said it was already taken. He then asked if there was a waiting list in case 007 retired or died in the line of duty. He was then told it would automatically be reassigned to 008, and at that point decided to become a hedge fund manager instead.

The Prisoner is a brilliant Cult 60s drama series about a man kidnapped and inexplicably imprisoned in a strange village. Number Six finds himself the subject of an experiment in dream manipulation.

1). The three part "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" presentation from 1964 (the original)

2). The three episodes stitched together to form a "movie."

For nostalgia's sake, I prefer the original 3-episode format.

Sadly, the DVD is now out of print. Not sure if it's offered by Netflix.

Like a giant white blood cell.

The original Rover was a little domed mechanical car thing that kept breaking down. Completely frustrated by it, McGoohan and one of the producers were wondering what to do when they saw someone launching a weather balloon. Eureka!
