DU Hug
I've been posting here for over 12 years. This is my favorite site on all of the interwebs, Twitter included. And I am up to 38k Twitter followers now.
Mostly, I have DU and Reddit to thank for all of the articles and funny memes I post on Twitter. I love you guys. I mean I really, really love you guys. I love the lefty/progressive perspective here. I love the spirited debates. I love the consistency and the active moderators/admins who keep out the riff raff. I love the jury system which allows me to have some voice in what is allowed here.
I think of myself as someone who takes it upon himself to find the most important lefty stories of the day and amplify them. That's the reason I am on Twitter, to push progressive ideas and to fight back against fake news. If you post an important story or a dank meme, you can count on me to amplify it as best I can and give the story more legs. My Twitter posts average around 5 million views/impressions per month for the past year. So, I feel like I'm doing something right, and people want to hear what I have to say. I have found my voice. On Twitter. But mostly I have DU to thank for it. You guys rock. And I love you guys.
