But as long as he stays in the Eastern Conference, there isn't a team there that he can't take to the Finals all by himself. Okay, maybe not the Knicks. But James in the Western Conference, where every round is a knock-down drag-out series featuring great players? Nah, he'd rather stay in the East, where the first round is always some tomato can and the second round is just a warm-up for the conference final, when he has to start paying attention.

into superpower territory - the only reason they didn't sweep into the finals is because of the injuries to Kyrie and Hayward. Kyrie alone would have resulted in an easy win for Boston.

Besides, getting to the finals in a cream puff East isn't doing much for LeBron's legacy at this point, especially since it will likely lead to yet another finals loss.

I think LeBron with Paul George (who is LA-bound with or without the King) + LA's talented young core is a superpower in the making - they can take the West IMO. LeBron and his family love LA and he clearly wants to expand his brand once his basketball days are over, making LA/Hollywood a natural fit.

Philly has a decent chance of landing LeBron's services, and Houston has an outside shot, but LA seems to be the favorite right now.

I'm a Lakers fan for a few decades.. seriously, why would James go to the Lakers? Serious dialogue only..

LeBron and his family DESPISE Dan Gilbert, and rightfully so. He only returned to fulfill his promise of bringing a championship to Cleveland, abs he delivered in glorious fashion. Now it's time to move on.
