Just plopped down on my bed and found it. Ouch! Pulled it out of my buttock. Don't let anyone tell you there are few nerve endings back there.

(17,570 posts)....i only use needles in places of the house i can immediately close off until i find the darn thing...never on my bed tho! I have a sleep number so a hole in it would deflate it

(16,356 posts)About 20 years ago I dropped a threaded needle as I picked up a phone call and my cat grabbed it ran under the bed where it disappeared. The next morning I took the kitteh to the vet for X-rays to verify my suspicions and there it was right in her colon. The vet did surgery later that day; the needle was still threaded. That was pricey mistake and I felt so bad for my sweet girl.
