When i was 15 or 16, i'm not sure what year that was.

It was a slightly jazzier version, with more syncopation than the original but i stayed pretty true to the spirit of the song.

The biggest change was the first turn after the part everyone knows from the United commercial. The left hand part kind of swung the piece with a quasi-boogie feel.

I loved playing that piece.

Either to NYC or from, I forget which.

It's one of my most favorite classical pieces. It's almost the first "mashup" of classical and jazz.
