You can never have too many clamps.

All different kinds.

If you have the right clamps, you almost never need a helper to do a job.

Go to the tool section of a big box or hardware store and browse the clamps.

I probably have a few hundred of them.

I love clamps.

But so does my son. Not to mention his friends. I'm lucky to have a few left after loaning out my tools. I'm not to bothered though, because I love to see young people repairing and/or making things on their own. I am happy to help.

Here's an interesting post from ToolGuyd: https://toolguyd.com/pony-tool-clamp-company-suspends-operations/

"The demise had Nothing to do with products being outsourced, it’s definitely an internal thing that caused the demise. I know first hand (laid off employee) Our products were in high demand until the end, we just weren’t able to meet the demand due to “mismanagement of funds” on behalf of pompous, “management” who never held a frigging clamp a day of their lives! Sad how a company that survived the Great Depression wasn’t able to survive technological changes and arrogant “managers”!
