migraine?

I have tried many many remedies... excedrin migraine, extra strength advil, CBD oil.

Nothing has worked all that well.

8. neck and shoulder massage

headaches are often caused by increased blood pressure in the brain. Massaging the muscles of the next and shoulders can cause the blood flow from the brain to increase thus decreasing pressure.

At least for a stress headache, it might help... failing someone to massage you, hot pads on the neck can help too

And my blood pressure would have to be sky-high in order to cause a headache. It's not uncommon for people to think 'elevated blood pressure' when someone complains of a headache. But the truth is, one's b/p has to be pretty high in order for one to have any symptoms at all.

Hypertension is often called The Silent Killer for this reason.

times on my temples and forehead. It definitely helps.

I also have a thing called a "Thera-cane" and I dig deep into the tight knots in my shoulders and neck and it really relieves the tension. The cane is great because you can get a lot of leverage so you don't need someone else around to get deep into the muscles.

Anyway, just my two-cents, but it really works for me.

A joint give me a fast-acting high, but it doesn't last very long, and is rarely wirth the irritation to my lungs.

Candy takes forever to get going, tends to offer a frighteningly strong high, and wears off very slowly.

An SQ spray is a nice middle ground.

Works quicker than candy and lasts just long enough and a bit easier to control strength than candy.

Good thing I came through the Lounge today!

600 mg of ibuprofen didn't touch it??? Yikes.

I wonder how your BP is.

I've felt fine since the fires started affecting the air quality. I've treated several patients for shortness of breath secondary to the smoke.

My headache just started this morning.

Cat 5 hurricanes are awful, but they happen so far away, it can seem a little unreal.

Our summers here in the Northwest have been getting increasingly unbearable in the last ten years or so.

But these wildfires and the resulting smoke are really frightening...

To better help my patients. It's important to know that the airborne lung irritants aren't just burning organic matter, but also probably burning plastics, etc.

Move your scalp in circular directions with the pads of your fingers. Also apply finger pad pressure to the back of your skull, just under the occipital bone. Work your temples in the same way.
