My first memory of childhood starts with a "dream" I could fly. Thank goodness, I knew better than to test the dream with a leap out the barn loft without that cape.

Landed right and my grandfather's feet who was walking up to the barn. After he made sure I was alive and hadn't broken anything, he whipped my rear end...only spanking I can ever remember him giving me in my childhood.

should not have given you a "whipping". imo
I witnessed my bothers receiving numerous, brutal physical punishments with a belt. It's wrong and my father agreed before his death.

And it wasn't with a belt. It was one spank and, like I said, the only time I every remember my grandad punishing me in that manner.
