For sale: A "For Sale" sign originally purchased at Home Depot.

Color is black and red, size is 11 x 14 inches.

This sign says "FOR SALE".

It is made of a vinyl-like material.

Original cost was $$3.95 + tax.

For sale today at only $3.95, no tax.

Sorry, but I only buy the ones that are "for sale by owner".

I've had too many bad experiences buying things that were not for sale by owner.

and wrote "by owner" on the sign. I made a mistake though, and wrote it above the for sale part, instead of below. I'm still going to have to charge the same price, regardless. The fact that there are now more words on the sign cancels out the mistake.

Then I have to cross out your "by owner" and write in my own, since you won't be the owner any more. That's why you need a separate for sale sign for the sign.

Go back to the store, buy another one, use this one as the sign for that one, and I'll buy the newer one.
