I noticed Big Lots had their Christmas trees up and lit a couple days ago.

just as is Michaels. Having their Christmas stuff out is something of a necessity for those who make things for the holiday. I'm no fan of Hobby Lobby, but it makes sense in their case to do so.

Halloween was moved a few aisles down. And, come to think of it, I didn't see a Halloween candy display, although I'm sure it's there, somewhere.

11. Halloween is the only holiday I bother with.

For a while my neighborhood was a 'hot spot' for trick or treating. Now things seem to be slowing down so instead of buying BIG bags of inexpensive candy, I buy a few smaller bags of stuff I like - just in case it rains. I never want to get stuck with a whole lot of 'Double Bubble Gum', again.

I think most kids are now going to organized events, which is probably safer. When I was a kid, we'd be gone for HOURS, hit every neighborhood, and come home with pillow cases filled with candy. Now I rarely see any kids without their parents driving them.

My GF decorates it for everything. Valentine's, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. At first I thought it was silly, but now I enjoy it. Plus it makes a great night light!!

Noticed Halloween was smaller as well.
Noticed stock wasn't deep now
So by introduction early there is way less to clearance

8. I hate the marketing gimmick phrase "pumpkin spice".

Pumpkin doesn't taste or smell spicy until you put spices in it. Pumpkin spice latte has no pumpkin in it. It's just a spice latte.
