How insane were the 1960s? The Super Bowl MVP used to grab a smoke at halftime while a guy in a Mickey Mouse hat stood guard.



Everyone in the Chiefs organization knew the second half doesn't begin until Len Dawson gets back from flavor country.



Bonus:

When soda came in glass bottles and you returned them to the store with your rotten teeth for a quarter.



Double sooper sekrit bonus:

Has anyone ever won the Masters AND worked for Century 21? Because I feel like that would be the pinnacle.

which was in Jan 1970 (not the 1960s).

I watched the game ( and all of the early Superbowls starting with Superbowl I ) because I was a nut for the KC Chiefs (growing up in a suburb of KC).

I always thought it was fitting that the NFL/AFL Superbowl record was 2-2 (the league merged the next year)... with the great Green Bay Packers winning the first two and the Jets and Chiefs winning the next two.
