For me it's British comic Billy Connolly.
I just don't find him funny at all.

(26,241 posts)I can't even watch his movies, like 'Dumb and Dumber' and 'Ace Ventura'. I've tried, but I have to turn them off.
The few movies where he's played a serious, or non-comedic character are pretty good.
And I love Billy Connolly.

(52,112 posts)what i liked about him was that he was well-read and pulled somewhat obscure references into his routine.
as opposed to most other comedians, who find such knowledge something to laugh at, not a way to spice up their routine.
but once he got political,... ugh.

(52,112 posts)because part of what they do is try edgy stuff, and part of the effect is to get people to actually think about things they otherwise wouldn't.
but there has to be some actual humor along with the misogyny.
dice's routines are based on the premise that misogyny itself is funny.
it's not.

Mort Sahl is still alive - .He's 91, still doing comedy, one night a week on some satellite hook-up.

Carrot Top, Dennis Miller & Roseanne Barr are three of the least funny so-called-comedians ever.

Now watch, like 5 people will be all OH WOW I forgot to say Ron White! God, I hate that guy! Lol ...
I also thought for sure I'd see some other inexplicable picks like Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby (the comedian, not the man), Dave Chappelle, Kathleen Madigan, Maria Bamford, Jim Gaffigan, Patton Oswalt, Eddie Izzard, Steven Wright, Emo Phillips, or Russell Peters ... I'm really glad nobody picked any of them, cause they're all great (or at least WERE, in their day).
I will say I can't really get into Amy Schumer, and trust me, I ain't uptight, she's just not that funny most of the time.
My pick for this list though is Gilbert Gottfried. Dude is WAY annoying and not funny.
