The young man who got caught up with Roger Stone and was careening around saying very interesting but self-dangerous things. She sat with him and very quietly, with real compassion, said that he had to be more careful, that she didn't want him to be at risk.

I think he'd been so blinded by whatever charisma Roger Stone has (that escapes the rest of us), and stopped caring about himself and his own security. And by showing that she cared what happened to him, she subtly reminded him that he had to care for himself more than Roger Stone.

He visibly calmed, and I think it made a difference. He still likes to talk to the press, but he's clearly realized that Roger Stone is not his friend.

Anyway, it's seldom we witness true compassion and empathy on a news show, but Maya Wiley really showed that.

Yes, she'd be a great goddess. I'm glad she's human!
