The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsAnother sad day in ET Awful land - RIP Quinn
That makes two cats that made their first appearance on DU while Dubya was in office that have passed within a 6 month period. I lost Althea back in March, and today, the mighty Quinn passed away, he was 15, he was gorgeous and he was a royal pain in the ass. . . which is to say he was quintessential cat.
RIP Quinn. . . .

(115,674 posts)I actually remember that adorable kitten photo from way back. I have a 15-year-old cat, too, and he's starting to show his age... It sure sucks to lose them.

(24,753 posts)He was fine as a kitten, then became a vicious beast for about . . . 10 years or so, then calmed down again.

A cats meow and a cows moo, I can recite em all
Just tell me where it hurts ya, honey
And Ill tell you who to call
Nobody can get no sleep
Theres someone on everyones toes

(22,250 posts)I remember when you posted new Quinn photos, someone inevitably would reply "Quinn!!"
He was well loved by all of us and shall be missed
Definitely one of the cutest kittens ever.
My 15 yr old passel of cats has reduced by one, as we lost Lewis last February. Now we no longer have Lewis and Clark and CatZilla; just Clark and CatZilla.

(22,503 posts)What a stunner! Readers, get your cats off dry food and probably a good idea to get the older ones on a kidney diet...the kidneys always go and cats don't show kidney failure until the kidneys are 66% gone. Soo sorry for your loss. If pets lived longer, we couldn't stand the loss. You'll see them all again, promise.
