Watched Lawrence Kasdan's "Body Heat" (1981) last night

Great performances by William Hurt and Kathleen Turner. It was nice to see her paired with someone other than Michael Douglas.

Anyway, I was cold when I got home last night, and you can't watch this movie without feeling the heat.

Hurt, Turner, and Ted Danson are all still alive. I'd like to see a sequel where Ned Racine serves his term in prison, goes back to Peter Lowenstein, and persuades him that he was framed.

And the only one I've ever seen in which the Rule Against Perpetuities was mentioned.

"I like my men stupid."

Kathleen Turner was probably onto something there.
