(3,709 posts)Callaway Gardens stone ground grits are the best and I do love to add seasonings the way you have. Also, love that sausage! Had forgotten about it!
Enjoy that delicious meal!!!

(34,136 posts)I get down there sometimes, but not as often as I should, considering I only live a couple of miles from the store. I can't eat the sausage anymore - my sensitivity to hot peppers has gotten so bad that even their mild is too much. They also have excellent stone ground grits "milled on Bradley's premises from southern select Dent corn."
Frank Bradley, who was running the store when we first moved here, died a couple of weeks ago. I think Frank's grandfather started the store, and now Frank's daughter and grandchildren are running it.
The family we bought this farm from used to sell their hogs to Bradley's. They buy their raw goods - hogs, corn, jelly, and honey - locally so if you buy from them you are supporting small local farmers in this area.

(12,132 posts)we are in Orlando but have locations in Tallahassee and when he goes up there for meetings and such he will often bring a cooler and stock up on his way out of town. I keep meaning to do the same but nobody has broken anything yet seriously enough for me to have to go up and fix it. Stupid responsible people not breaking stuff.
