Or go to the doctor? My ears have felt over hydrated and needing regular popping for a couple years I live with ear discomfort. But I can hear just fine that is a beautiful thing.

The improvement is measurable, although not perfect. But I am hearing stuff I haven't heard for years.

'hearing world' ... just curious, what did you mean by 'unable to do anything about it?'

Thanks.

I have other problems with the ear -- I was on a rifle team in the days before ear protection -- but the wax buildup was compounding the issue greatly. Now that I have medical insurance that covers the problem, I could do something about it.

hard of hearing, so ear wax buildup is a serious problem for me in that it reduced what little hearing I had left and also interfered w/ my hearing aids if not dealt w/. Hopefully you have some hearing instruments that help you hear too. Best wishes!!

Most times I look very calmly at the person trying to talk to me and say 'Please Yell'
'Cause I'm damn near deaf.

... and say I was deaf in it. Still have degraded hearing there, due to other issues, but being able to get the ear cleaned (thanks, Medicaid) has made a measurable difference.

Another bit of good news is that my doctor is willing to sign off on me being "medically frail" so I won't lose my insurance when Kentucky finally figures out a way to add work requirements to Medicaid. Not that I'm frail, mind you, but if Cadet Bone Spurs can get five deferments, I'll gladly accept anything that lets me dodge the Gov's death warrant.

and everything seemed SO LOUD right after that.

Once was done at an ear nose throat place. The last time, the lady at CVS minute clinic did it.
