I can't hear people talking on my Android 6:0:1 phone

they can hear me fine, I get no sound at all. When the phone rings it shows who’s calling and then I accept the call and don’t heat anything, they can hear me, I can’t hear them. I don’t have earbuds or use the Bluetooth. Any suggestions?? Thanks?

1. Settings..Sound...try turning volume up.

3. Tried turning up sound.....nothing.

10. Went to our Best Buy tech support place.......speaker was shot.

had to buy a new phone. Tracfone for 99.00 and good to go.

2. Put them on speaker for the time being

Also try to update the phone - that helped when mine did that.

But, while I had this problem and was searching out a solution - I just used speaker and I could hear everyone and they could hear me .

So, try those two things. And, if all else fails (and you have checked the sound settings carefully)

- do a factory reset. But that would be my last option..

You can only talk but no need to listen

You need to go back to an ObamaPhone
