(25,816 posts)I love Mozart. When I was in 1st and 2nd grade ('57 and '58), my dad was
stationed in Sidi Slimane, Morocco. No music on the radio. If I made good grades,
I got an album. Mozart was my fave. But I thought of Brubeck when I saw your OP.

(25,816 posts)Every song had a different time signature. 'Blue Rondo a la Turk' was
like 9/8 time. 'Take Five', a jazz classic, is in 5/4 time. I've worked on that
one for years. Brubeck was kind of a nerd in the jazz world, but he was a
genius of time signatures.
