(149,580 posts)How lovely to see you tonight!
Did you notice that DU has already set their clocks back? It startled me quite a bit.
Very efficient of them, I think.
Love you too!

(66,316 posts)I came home from work on Election Day, 2016 to relax and review the returns. I began to get a horrible feeling of dread as the electoral math began to look less and less like a Hillary Clinton win.
No projections from me. Not anymore...

(112,101 posts)after I start eating? I just got the Stouffer's lasagna out of the microwave and now I have to go back to the kitchen to mix a drink. I'm not complaining, mind you.
I'm having vodka with passion fruit juice tonight.

(66,316 posts)Do you prefer drinking on an empty stomach?
The onset of the buzz is quicker, but the potential hangover is worse...

(112,101 posts)Weed doesn't give me a hangover whether my stomach is empty or full.
I usually do eat something before drinking to avoid having a hangover. Having a booze buzz while also being stoned is okay, but I've had enough hangovers that I've wised up to not drinking on an empty stomach.

(33,643 posts)Straight nuked-lasagna (even partly pre-cooked like Stouffers) is a travesty ... the top must be browned and crisped up other wise it's just ... not right.
I often partially defrost stuff in micro, then transfer to oven, esp. things that take a long time in oven alone like lasagna. Can trim a good 30 mins off the cooking time that way, but still have it come out ALMOST the exact same as if you'd just baked it.
I'm having vodka with Kiwi/Strawberry (cause I'z out of cran-mango, my usual mixer).

(112,101 posts)I usually put a slice of cheese on top of the lasagna at the halfway point. That gives the crispy top that is desired and I like cheese anyway.
