Born 1920 Vancouver BC
After shooting two snipers he led his men through a mine field to higher ground on D-Day.
That same night he was shot six times by a nervous Canadian sentry suffering four wounds to his leg, one through his right middle finge, and one to his chest. The shot to his chest was stopped by a silver cigarette case given him by his brother.
He flew a Taylor Auster Mark V as an Artillery Office. Although not a member of the RCAF he was labeled The craziest pilot in the CAF. One of his stunts was to slalom a plane between telegraph poles to prove it could be done.
He was a master of accents and dialects.
More clues to come, if needed!
