"Do you want to see a llama get into a taxi?" - a thing I've said to everyone around me today.

Have the self belief of this llama taking a taxi.

Correctly, "Vicuña," but I don't think the title box allows tildes.

Let's see....

Yeah, it takes out the entire letter and makes the word "Vicua."

I voted (in Virginia) on the way to work. In Virginia, the polls are open from 6:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. EST.* In DC and Maryland, they are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. EST. That's if I heard the voice on the radio correctly.

I didn't want to to take the chance of missing voting. I didn't vote in the last election, back in June, due to getting home late. That was a primary for seeing who would run for city council. It was pretty much of a done deal.

The rain was really coming down when I voted. The weather has been cool, damp, and dreary all day. It's overcast and getting dark right now. I won't know what the turnout was or the results until later.

The choices for city council candidates were on one side of a page, and the choices for Senate (Tim Kaine) and House (Don Beyer) candidates were on the other. We have optically scanned paper ballots here. The machine checks the form for stray marks when it is inserted. If there are no discrepancies, then you're good to go.

Thanks for writing.

* Not EDT. Thanks, unc70, for pointing that out. I got the other instance right.

dress press llama babies into your arms so you can take pictures. Baby llamas are the cutest things on earth.
