Murphy Brown, again

I likes the program during Bush I and these were civilized days, compared to what we have now.

And reviving it now is perfect. This evening she had Bette Midler, Katie Couric and John Larroquette.

But what was nice, the trailer for next week, someone is waking from a coma after 10 years, and when Murphy tells her who is the current president, the poor woman prefers to go back to her coma.

Reminds me of Back to the Future, when the inventor, in the 1950s hears that Reagan was the president, he asked: who is the V.P.? Jerry Lewis?

That was nice to see.

I do hope to see a lot of big names on this show, it looks like it might be able to deliver. Hillary on the first episode was epic.

but I loved seeing him. Been a fan since Night Court.

I love everything about the new Murphy Brown. The new characters are great and it is pure joy to see the old ones. the guest stars are terrific.

If I had a wish it would be that Pee Wee Herman would reprise his role at some point.

Oh, and that someone next week is Brooke Shields. Another lady I will always love.
