Everyone I have spoken to always says they did that. At the complex there is a Geo Metro in the parking lot. The man who owns it says it is in pretty good shape ( looks like it has been very well cared for ) though it still shakes at 50. I have a friend who sold his and actually sees it around town. His was an early 90's also. None of them however were convertibles though.
