Hank Williams songs. Once when I had Dylan on my turntable, he poked his head in the door and said 'I didn't know you liked country and western'. I was insulted! But the more I listened, the more I had to agree with him.

He was a musician in his youth, had a band and that's how he worked his way through college. I think he even met Ms. Fitzgerald one time when she played locally. He also liked the Kingston Trio, theirs are the records I remember best.
