She's only four years old. Her comprehensive exam was today. One eye is ok. The ok range is up to 25, and hers is 31 in the other eye. He's sending home a prescription.
The drug name he told me on the phone is one I take -- for glaucoma. It will be interesting to see how dosages and costs compare.
Well, she takes after her mom. 😕

(4,657 posts)It seems expensive until compared with the cost of annual check-ups etc. and then it actually pays for itself.
She needed leg surgery when we got her, and that cost a lot, so we got the plan after that.

(9,291 posts)I had a cat that was diabetic, and a chihuahua with heart failure who took 5 different tablets a day.
Chihuahua lasted an extra 5 years, the cat was only an extra year. It's what ya do for love, I guess.
I can't imagine how much medicated eye drops will be. Good luck.
