1. i once bid a job at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers.

an eagle had babies in the nest and was slowly flying right over us back and forth. very unnerving.

2. I can understand that. Birds will attack to protect their babies.

Did anyone get pecked?

4. Thanks, that nest is a beauty. Be sure to keep an eye on this one....

at the US National Arboretum in Washington, DC:

The DC Arboretum Eagle Nest Cam Project
Nature at its Very Best

Link: https://www.dceaglecam.org/

I've watched the DC pair most every year and don't know why the cams aren't up yet. Maybe tRump needed more wall or golfing money and whacked their funding.......

Learn more at the American Eagle Foundation with links to other eagle cams, based in the Great Smoky Mountains:

Link: https://www.eagles.org/

Watching the whole process from nest building to eaglet fledge is a blast........

6. Thank you. Today may be egg laying day.

The eagles have been in and out of the nest all morning.

8. When she lays an egg she won't leave it unattended.

You can review the activity at the nest.

10. Last minute chores....

The First Lady is at a final doctor's checkup, getting her feathers done and stocking up on preening spray.

Mr. President spends a lot of time down at the Eagles Club with the boys, but his first stop was to pay the tree rent.

Just routine eagle stuff......
