Who just loved puppy play.
Our 2 older cats hated pups of all ages and of course never forgave us for bringing our pup home.
Lesson: expose kittens to friendly dogs at a very young age. But of course, KNOW the adult dogs first.
We don't have kitties now (hub's allergies) but we've adopted an older black lab who cannot be trusted - his nickname is "Black Devil," (a takeoff of a line from an old Jim Carrey movie where he was called "White Devil."

Ogee (B.D.) has killed baby rabbits and swallow a whole squirrel so fast we didn't catch him doing it (regurgitated the evidence on my living room carpet). And he practically killed a opossum. I beat him off of the opossum whom I hope was just playing dead - at least the opossum was gone the next morning from the dog-park field across the street.
