I previously relied on Yahoo, but it got hacked repeatedly despite my numerous password changes.

I like Gmail for the most part. The only thing that mildly annoys me is when you get lengthy chains involving multiple parties and it can get confusing/easy to overlook new emails within the chain.

I agree with you. The way they stack new mail can result in a confusing thread. I really liked AOL. It's easy to use, the mail lists are clear, mail threads are clear. Don't know why it lost its popularity and anyone using it was considered an "old-timer". I still like it. Use it for mainly family communications. Still the easiest and clearest email out there. Only reason I use other email is because AOL now charges you if you have more than 2 address accounts. Use gmail for most of my other correspondence with businesses and groups I work with.
