The happiest year of my life was when I worked as a DJ in the coolest honky tonk dive bar you could imagine, playing stuff like this.
It was gutted by the owner and is a marijuana grow facility now.

he and Mahallia are still up there in my favorite. This was the first country song I managed to learn all the lyrics of. I made quite an impression around family parties doing it acapella in I imagine barely tolerable fashion.
