When's the last time you beat the hell out of a home appliance?

Me? Earlier today I punched the fridge about 4-7 good times before regaining my composure.

I normally NEVER lose my cool but this was from me dealing with an employee acting like a whiny child on a project of great importance for my company. I remained cool on the phone but afterwards....

Thank goodness for artwork that can hide the small dents and I've got a souvenir that I'll remember for a while. Just glad I didn't break any bones. Bruises will suffice.

When's the last time you lost it?

Thanks for posting that. I have felt like that washer too many times to count.

... as I walk to my garage. Nobody would care if I put some dents in that old avocado-colored fridge. I'd just hope no beer bottles were broken inside.

Good luck on your project. I remember working on very important projects. The importance seemed to fade after I retired

... because I didn't want anyone else to suffer it. I would have happily tossed it into their big shredder myself.

Yeah, I could have fixed it AGAIN, maybe even have given it to the Salvation Army in working condition, but the machine needed to DIE!

Our previous washing machine had lasted twenty years with minimal attention until one day it beat itself apart. There's supposed to be a switch that stops the machine spinning when it's wildly off balance, but it didn't. Instead the off-balance load broke the increasingly brittle plastic clips that held the machine together in a spectacular chain reaction as it went on a rampage through our laundry room before collapsing in pieces.
