So, binged the series last night/this morning, and really enjoyed it. Fan of the book, so was a bit nervous, but it really worked. The casting is great all the way down the line. They do a good job keeping the best things from the book, but update and streamline things. Overall, I thought it really worked.
Curious what others whove seen it think.

(6,008 posts)I liked the Douglas Adamsy HHGTTG vibe in the first episode, as they're setting things up, before we get the whole cast of characters introduced. Looking forward to the introduction of Death. In my mind, he's the same guy as in the Discworld books, showing up for a cameo, but I'm sure they'll do him justice here.

(15,805 posts)to be a season 2? I loved Michael Sheen and David Tennant together -- rather like the quirkier version of the Odd Couple -- and they are great feeding off each other's characters.

(10,144 posts)Jack Ryan and Britannia are two of my favorites. I'll definitely check out Good Omens. I also got The Death Of Stalin from Amazon Prime and I can't recommended it highly enough. A masterpiece of black humor. Say what you will but Bezos delivers the goods.
