She is across the country and we have been texting. I am on pins and needles, did not sleep well, but so awaiting the news. Come on baby girl, we are all waiting for you.
Gemma was born in St Paul this morning!

(3,191 posts)Then she met this REALLY great man, they got married and now she is getting ready to have her first baby. She has not told me the name, I think they want to meet her before deciding.

(1,353 posts)when my daughter had her children...2nd time was twin girls at 33 weeks so was crazy with worry texts. All was well but so wanted to be closer.
Best of luck! Nothing more special than being a grandma...it's everything and more than I thought it would be, even from a distance. The time spent with them (now have 5 and a youngish granny at 60) is quality and intense so the bond is very strong!

(15,682 posts)I just got my first grandbaby 3 years ago. I was so lucky that I flew up the day my daughter happened to go into labor so I was in the birthing room!! I love that little baby girl like you would not believe!!.
You might want to put your announcement as an edit to your OP so everyone sees it!!
