Got my metal detector, on Friday.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QHWTM6B?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image
This afternoon I trained myself in it's use, and did a few "scans" around the doors of my landlord's shop he has in the backyard.
Found 50 cents.
Too cold today to go to the beach, (52, windy and rainy,) but after July 4th, and the couple city festivals I'll be going down to the beaches and parks available.

Good luck.

Age of money you found??

Good luck and have fun!! Let us all know how you do!

(947 posts)It is fun as hell though...
Bought a nice metal detector about 5 years ago... I live on a an acre and half out in the boonies.
First hole we dug - Twoonie.
2nd hole we dug - Twoonie
3rd hole we dug -Loonie.
I thought, well this is easy. Keep this up and and I can retire in a few years, lol.
Let's just say the holes dried up quickly after that (Curse the person who created the Aluminum pop-can tab - they ping just like gold...)
Best thing we found on our property was an old iron...one of those steel jobbies you heat up in the fire before using...
Lots of fun though. Each "ping" gets your heart racing...
