Just saw Rocketman

I loved it but I'm 62 and saw Elton twice during his heyday in the early 70's.

1. Thanks, thinking of seeing it this week.

I've never 'seen' him.

2. Good to know!

I got to see him in Seattle in 1975, the tickets were frightfully expensive on the secondary market, but I won a pair in a radio contest. What a superb performer!

4. A friend who is 20 years younger than me didn't like it as much

Unlike Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman is a straight up musical with singing and dancing. Or maybe he didn't like the gay parts ....

7. Well, I'm nearly 60 and a total liberal so I bet I will enjoy it.

Also I lived in NYC last year fo 8 months and went to a Broadway musical most Saturdays! Now that I am back in Tucson I go to a movie most weeks. Another movie I canít wait to see come out is called Yesterday, according to the preview, about a young man who gets hit on the head, wakes up and starts singing Beatles songs.....only nobody has ever heard of the Beatles.
