Polish historian getting friendly support from his cat during TV interview

This happened last summer, and DUer brooklynite posted about it then

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100210846561

but the video in that post is no longer available.

I ran across this again today when George Conway retweeted the original tweet from the journalist who did the interview:

3. Cats don't care what you're doing. It's all about them.

One of mine doesn't like it when I'm on the phone so he howls, and whoever I'm talking to usually asks what's going on with my cat, and I have to explain that he's annoyed because I'm paying attention to something other than him.

12. Exactly how many cats have you ever had?

I'll agree with the "gives so much in return" part, but a lot of cats are needy little bastards.

13. A lot. I run a feral TNR org and they are grateful to be fixed and cared for and fed.

6. Here is a longer video of a different interview - with MORE cats!

I think this one is all about his cats.

9. 1. The historian will never need blood pressure medicine.

2. Did you notice the framed print hanging on the shelves?
3. As an Arab, Khashoggi would have patience with cats
Since Mohammed cut the sleeve off his garment rather
Than disturb the cat sleeping there.
4. I don't know if Khashoggi was speaking in Turkey, but
Cats in Turkey, esp. Istanbul, have the upper hand over
Human convenience. Ataturk said that if he could
Reincarnate, he'd return as a cat. The last time I was
there, Istanbul was under military authority. On a
Corner, we saw an armed soldier with little
Bowls at his boots for the kitten he was feeding.
You can Google cats in Istanbul to see them.
