drifting on the the Sea of Cortes. Limes should never be in short supply on a boat because they are great for bartering for fish. Same for garlic and onions. Fresh cilantro is always at a premium, but wilted cilantro still works well.

I hear they taste the same going down as coming up.

I'm a gingersnap man, myself, but they gotta be made with fresh ground ginger. I always feel crappy 12-18 hours into a sail, but the closest I've came to tossing my cookies was when my buddy was talking with me, then he casually turned and lost it overboard. Real, real close. Oh, he's also the guy who explained his bananas secret to me.

and knew a place on the water that made fabulous fish sandwiches.
We'd pick some up before heading out on the water. This place also made
ceviche, a dish that I was a bit leery about because raw fish and all.
The stuff was absolutely delicious. I think you have to know where you're
getting it. Overall---Yum!
He once bought about 100 bucks worth of Chilean Sea Bass. I didn't know
at the time that the species was endangered. The best fish I ever ate.
