Besides, this is the perfect union of creating supply and having a captive base of consumers. What child doesn't want a dozen salamanders?

The first season of "Duck Dynasty" was real, but the other seasons were scripted.
Also, PBS had some reality shows that WERE real, like Manor House and Frontier House.
