22. As a practical note we used this "law" all the time in Radiology

Basically if you double the distance you ¼ the amount of radiation to a given detector... So if I went from a 40 inch target film distance to a 72 inch target film distance I would have to go up 4x to get the equivalent density on the film....End of Radiology Physics 101 for today..
I loved x-ray physics... it was so neat and practical... Long time ago in a far away land..

20. Hey, have you ever had Spindrift Seltzer?

It's out of Newton, MA and it is the best. It is made w/ a little bit of actual fruit juice, but no sugar. I find it kind of addicting. I'm not sure where you live, but if they have it where you are you should try it. Much better than La Croix! The raspberry lime and the blackberry are my favorites.

I took my girlfriend to see "Gremlins" (smart move; she basically spent the whole movie in my lap due to the scary scenes...)

We both turned out heads at the same moment, and the kiss just kind of happened...

I was like: "Kiss! right here! Kiss! It finally happened! Wheeeeeeee!"

19. Man, I had an egg go bad in the fridge this evening.

Cracked it open for brownies and it just stayed in the shell. No white runny. Just hard yellow with a bend in it. Oh my god, I aborted a chick !

Luckily I had a new carton of eggs in their too. So, Brownies!

It burns me up (no pun intended) that PG&E, who has consistently screwed us over for decades, has now had to scramble to try to make things right. A little late, it would seem. Their "mismanagement and greed" (as Gov Newsom put it) has been in place for years and it's now coming back to bite them (us, really) in the proverbial derriere.



We'll get through this.

17. I'm doing laundry.

After I get the towels folded and sheets on the bed I'll break out a Purple Haze. At least I get to walk and take a smoke break when I go to the laundry room.

By definition 95% of any ingredients or "congeners"are distilled out of the product. For me and my dead taste buds to detect the difference between $50/bottle and $10/bottle is a moot point.
On that note I like Titos vodka.. I mix it with a bit of Pomagranet juice and i'm golden..I had a friend that would put cheap vodka in expensive vodka bottles and no one was the wiser...
"Oh I only drink Grey Goose"..... HA... YMMV
