It was maybe 25 degrees outside. Maybe colder. Definitely chilly. Inside the store was a man in a wife beater t-shirt. I almost said something to him, but controlled myself.

We had a new self propelled lawn ornament arrive this week. A Buick LeSabre driven by 4 high school kids hot rodding around a tight corner on a narrow street. All we got was lawn ruts and and oil spill, but the fire plug and neighbor’s mustang across the street were worse for wear.

Their statement of brake failure didn’t have much credibility, but it’s all up to the insurance company now and thankfully no one was hurt.

Wife's car was in front, not in garage. (We live on the corner with garage in the basement)
Kids hit fireplug. Hard!!!! Lots of water spilled.
Worst of it for us was flooded driveway when the water went downhill along side street and spilled over.
Still not sure how they hit the fireplug and missed wife's car. She was only about 15' away!
They had a worse night!
Open beer in car, with oldest being 18.
