As promised we adopted Zuzu this past Friday

Her story is here: https://www.hua.org/adopt-dogs/dogs/chihuahua/charlotte

We changed her name from Charlotte to Zuzu from "It's a Wonderful Life".

She is adapting to our house, us, and our other two (Dug, Mika) k-9s. Only one accident in the first 48 hours. She is calm and starting to explore and play.

...named Zuzu. Her middle name was Petals.

So it slurred often into Zuzu's Petals as George Bailey would say.

A Wonderful Life!". I love it! Saw it on TV again last night. Zuzu has a good home and she got what she wanted for Christmas...a chance at a wonderful life!

P.S. My little Chihuahua says "Woof".
